In Tindouf the UN Envoy met yesterday with the leadership of Frente POLISARIO. On his second visit, he met with SADR President and SG of Frente POLISARIO, Mr Brahim Ghali, the negotiating delegation and groups of civil society and payd a visit to some institutions of the Sahrawi State. On 5 September, he will be in Algiers to meet with the Algerian authorities. De Mistura is then planning to travel to Nouakchott for meetings with the Mauritanian authorities on 10 September.
In the course of these regional engagements, the Personal Envoy continues to look forward to deepening the consultations with all concerned on the prospects of constructively advancing the political process on Western Sahara.
