NEW YORK, MARCH 1 – Today, the EU and African Group Ambassadors co-chaired by EU Ambassador Olof Skoog and the Permanent Representative of Egypt, Osama Abdel Khalek, held informal discussions on key issues on the UN agenda.
On the programme, ahead of next September summit on the Sdgs, were the Sustainable Development Goals, the Digital Agenda and the New Agenda for Peace. “Regular exchange and dialogue remains fundamental in building trust and partnerships to achieve common objectives”, said Ambassador Khalek on Twitter after the meeting.
Italy’s Deputy Permanent Representative Gianluca Greco took part to the session: “As we all aim to a stronger EU-Africa alliance, Italy focuses on Africa, also by supporting the food systems transformation through UN Food Systems Stockstaking Moment in Rome in July 2023″. (@OnuItalia)
