SHARM EL-SHEIKH, OCTOBER 7 – On the sidelines of the world climate conference underway in Sharm e-Sheikh, Egypt, Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni met with the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres.
At the center of the discussion was collaboration on the main global challenges, the repercussions of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine and Italy’s full support for the UN mediation in Libya.
Meloni today addressed the Plenary Session of the COP27, assuring world leaders that Italy will do its part in the fight against climate change. (@OnuItalia)
