ROME, MARCH 20 – #WeAre Italy #StayTunedOnIt: an online campaign was launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to promote the most creative and vital Italy in the world in the days of the Coronavirus.
Andrea Bocelli, Uto Ughi, Tiziano Ferro, Paolo Fresu, Ada Montellanico, Nek, Andrea Griminelli, Rita Marcotulli, Fabrizio Bosso and many others have joined the initiative and created video messages to spread abroad the invitation to stay connected with the world of Italian culture. Also, in these days of emergency, Italian cultural institutions are putting in place many initiatives to offer the Italian and international public exclusive moments of virtual cultural entertainment.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, to show the image of a country capable of continuing to produce and spread high-quality culture and entertainment, every day will collect new videos and new exclusive content. Such content will be promoted through the dedicated page of its website, social channels and the network of Italian Embassies, Consulates and Cultural Institutes in the world.
Part of the campaign is the “web culture” offered by museums and archaeological parks, libraries and archives, festivals and theatres, the world of cinema and live entertainment, TV, radio and publishing: among others, Istituto Luce, Cineteche di Milano e Bologna, Salone del Libro, Pinacoteca di Brera, MAXXI are showing an extraordinary ability to “occupy” social platforms in a creative and quality way.
