BRINDISI, NOVEMBER 19 – To tackle the worsening humanitarian condition in North-West Syria and assist the new influx of internally displaced, the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs arranged a humanitarian flight of the Italian Cooperation. 12 tons of first aid and emergency goods (tents, hygiene kits, winter blankets) were flown from the United Nations Humanitarian Response Depot in Brindisi and landed at the airport of Ebril in Iraq.
The humanitarian aid will then be distributed among the populations living in the camps of Abu Kashab (Deir er Zor) and Twenah (Hasakeh), and those currently hosted in the schools and collective centers of the Hasakeh area. (@OnuItalia)
