GENEVA, MAY 15 – The Italian Deputy Minister for Infrastructures and Transports, Edoardo Rixi, is in Geneva today for the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (Resilience Dividend: Towards Sustainable and Inclusive Societies), organized by the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UNISDR).
The Deputy Minister spoke at the high-level dialogue on “Progress made in implementing Sendai framework – global and regional perspectives”, during which he presented the Italian experience and best practices.
A delegation from the Civil Protection Department, led by the Head of the Department, Angelo Borrelli, and the Permanent Mission of Italy to the International Organizations in Geneva, with the Permanent Representative, Amb. Gian Lorenzo Cornado, take also part to the event. (@OnuItalia)
